Shoe condition requirements:
All shoes are subject to the following rules:
- Must be in clean working condition with no signs of excessive wear
- Must include brand and size markings
- Must be sizes we accept
- Must not be made of exotic materials
- Must have an original retail value of at least $5
- Must not be custom made, such as orthopedic shoes
- Must be from categories we accept
- Vintage items may be rejected due to limited appeal
Shoe size requirements:
- Both shoes in pair must be the same size
Shoe set-making guidelines:
Typically shoes are valuable enough by themselves and do not need to be made into a set. Here are some exceptions:
- Foam flip flops
- Generic/Store brand shoes that retail for $5 or less new.
If you are making a shoe set all shoes must
- be the same type (flip-flops with flip flops)
- be the same size
Shoe types accepted:
Athletic Shoes, Ballet Shoes, Boat Shoes, Booties, Boots, Clogs, Cowboy Boots, Dance Shoes, Dress Shoes, Espadrilles, Flats, Flip-Flops, Golf Shoes, Heels, Jelly Shoes, Loafers, Mules, Oxford, Platforms, Pumps, Rain Boots, Sandals, Slingbacks, Slip-ons, Slippers, Sneakers, Snow Boots, Swimming Shoes, Trekking Shoes, Walking Shoes, Watersports Shoes, Wedges ...
Shoe types not accepted:
- Disposable or single use shoes, such as hotel slippers
- Fully custom shoes
- Shoes meant to work with specific equipment
- Light-up or roller shoes that no longer function as intended
